Liebherr 70t Mobile Crane

The Liebherr 70 tonne mobile crane features a long telescopic boom and bi-parted swing-away job. The crane carrier offers state-of-the-art drive technology, a LICCON computer system and speed-sensitive rear-axle steering

The Liebherr 70t mobile crane is able to travel on all terrain, including transit & district council roads with 5.7 tonnes of counterweight.  This gives the crane a capacity of 50.6 tonnes (with 11 metres of boom) to 6.7 tonnes (50 metres of boom).  The boom has one base section and five telescopic sections.  It has a good selection of ratings with between 0 and 14.5 tonnes of counterweight.

This crane has performed a variety of tasks including revamp & shutdowns at Refining New Zealand and structural steel erection in Auckland
