Mt Manganui Terminal Expansion Project

Culham Engineering was selected to design, build and erect 6 Storage tanks, ranging in size from 8m diameter x 10m high to 11m diameter x 13m high for Stolthaven Terminal in Tauranga. 

During the design phase we established that the tanks could be fabricated in our Whangarei workshop and shipped to site in Tauranga. This saved cost and improved the schedule, allowing the civil works and tank fabrication proceed concurrently. The cooling rings and foam pourer piping were also fabricated and installed in our Whangarei workshop, removing the difficulty of fitting the piping onsite.
