Sturgess Road Overpass

Culham Engineering fabricated pedestrian arches for the rail overpass at Sturges Road, West Auckland and erected them on site.
This was a challenging project due to the different radius to be rolled, the thickness of material and the amount of welding that was required to achieve a seamless look.
Erection Methodology was crucial as these awkward loads had to be erected at night so as to limit disruption to the rail corridor.
