Fabricator Welder

Culham Engineering is looking for Trade Qualified Fabricator Welders to become part of our team in Kawerau.

The Role

We are looking for Trade Qualified Fabricator Welders to become part of our team in Central North Island (Kawerau). You will need to be able to build metal structures by cutting, bending and assembling processes, correctly interpreting workshop plans and drawings for structural steel fabrication as well as demonstrating good skill in the use of hand tools, gas cutting, beveling and angle grinding. The position is full time, permanent. You will be a highly motivated, energetic, quick thinking individual with relevant experience and an excellent ability to communicate.

About you

Trades Certificate or Level 4 National Certificate in Engineering Heavy Fabrication or acknowledged as a time served tradesman
ASME IX/1554 welding qualification or the ability to pass the qualification
At least three years of Heavy Fabrication experience
The ability to read and interpret construction/workshop drawings
The self-motivation to perform your duties
